The Gallatin County Sheriff's Department is asking for help locating a woman seen on Interstate 90 near the Gallatin River Tuesday night wearing only a towel around her head.

According to the sheriff, two 911 calls came in at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday of a naked woman standing in the passing lane of I-90. Officers responded within five minutes but were unable to locate the woman.

Thirty emergency responders from four agencies, using everything from search dogs to thermal imaging cameras, searched into the early morning hours with no sign of the woman. Now, they are hoping someone will call with information.

"We have 20 search and rescue volunteers that are out there doing that on their own, worried about a person they don't even know, trying to find that person. They would like to know what happened, they would like some closure," said Gallatin County Sheriff Brian Gootkin.

If you have any information about the woman you are asked to call 582-2100.
